Judy S. Thorpe, PT, DPT

Dr. Judy S. Thorpe, PT, DPT, received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Howard University. She has extensive experience working in outpatient physical therapy, treating patients with a wide variety of orthopedic conditions, chronic pain conditions, sports injuries and post-surgical conditions.

Judy began her career working as a consultant for adults with neurologic and intellectual disabilities. After two years she returned to an outpatient setting, where her primary patient focus was on treating patients with work-related injuries that were mostly post-traumatic and post-operative in nature. During this time, she began to pursue advanced training in the examination and rehabilitation of the injured worker. She took courses with BTE for Functional Capacity Evaluations, Pre-employment Screenings and Work Hardening and conditioning. While working in this type of setting she helped establish and run a successful industrial rehabilitation program for one of her previous employers.

Judy has a love for learning the latest treatment techniques and has completed the course program of Myopain Seminars and in 2011, in Trigger Point Dry Needling. Judy has taken a multitude of courses in many different styles of ph ysical therapy, and develops individualized treatments to meet each patient’s needs and return patients to their highest level of function. She enjoys working on putting “all the pieces of the puzzle together” since no two patients are the same. Although she has treated all areas of the body, Judy has a particular interest in the treatment of the neck, tension headaches, migraines as well as sport related injuries. She also has experience in Aquatic Therapy, Functional Capacity Evaluations, Work Hardening, Work Conditioning, Graston Techniques, Sport Medicine and Post-surgical conditions.

Judy Thorpe is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Judy maintains licensure in Maryland.

Judy is married and has three children. Her hobby is traveling to different countries to experience different cultures. For recreation, she enjoys spending time with her children and exercising. She is heavily involved in her church, and also volunteers for the South Baltimore Youth Soccer League, where she is a team parent.

Chit Chit Goling, PT

Chit Chit Goling, PT, Bachelor of Physical Therapy in the Philippines. Prior to joining Action Therapy Inc. She worked in sub-acute rehabilitation facilities. She has been with Action Therapy Inc. since, she has advanced her manual therapy skills in an orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation setting treating individuals with diagnoses ranging from post-operative joint replacements, ligament reconstructions, and tendon repairs and sports injuries to spinal and chronic pain.

Chit Chit has worked as a Physical Therapist in sub-acute rehabilitation for 2 years, treating neuromuscular conditions, orthopedic conditions and cardiopulmonary patients. Chit Chit prides herself in increasing her knowledge base on the latest treatment techniques.

In her spare time, she loves healthy eating and is a food connoisseur in moderation of course.
